Vanderbilt Health Professional Solutions subsidiaries participated in Becker’s 15th Annual Meeting, joining health care leaders and executives from across the country for a multi-day conference in Chicago emphasizing collaboration, operational performance and innovation.
Representing Vanderbilt Health were two key business solutions subsidiaries: Vanderbilt Health Purchasing Collaborative (VHPC) and the Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA). Both teams were on-site to engage with current and prospective partners, share best practices and explore future opportunities to support improved outcomes and operational performance across health systems nationwide.
Becker’s Annual Meeting provided an opportunity for Vanderbilt Health’s teams to directly engage with current and prospective partners, share best practices, and explore new opportunities in supply chain strategy and professional accountability. The Vanderbilt Health booth served as a central hub for conversations around shared goals in supply chain value and professional accountability.
VHPC spotlighted its role in supporting both acute and non-acute providers through supply chain volume aggregation and strategic collaboration.
“VHPC’s goal is to drive value by working directly with partners to create sustainable and efficient supply chain solutions. At Becker’s, we reinforced the importance of collective expertise and trust in achieving these goals,” said Tony Gribble, VHPC vice president of operations.
CPPA demonstrated its role in equipping healthcare organizations with tools to foster a culture of professionalism and accountability within clinical environments.
“We deeply value Becker’s Healthcare and its commitment to keeping the healthcare community informed. The Annual Meeting provides a meaningful opportunity for us to connect with healthcare leaders in their pursuit of professionalism, safety and high reliability,” said Courtney Necessary, MBA, chief of staff for CPPA.
Idea sharing was instrumental in reaffirming the value of direct collaboration and underscoring Vanderbilt Health’s commitment to providing actionable solutions that improve healthcare delivery.
“Becker’s offers a valuable space for deep, focused conversations on improving patient care. Our team was excited to engage with others committed to fostering sustainable change,” said Olivia Bryant, senior vice president at Health Professional Solutions (HPS).
According to Bryant, Vanderbilt Health is appreciative of the open-minded conversations that shape the future of the nation’s healthcare delivery. Topics including digital transformation, value-based care and the future of healthcare innovation resonated deeply with the mission and objectives of HPS, she said.
“These discussions not only reinforced our strategic direction but also sparked new opportunities to innovate and collaborate — ultimately helping us better serve patients, providers and communities across the care continuum,” said Bryant. “By participating in these discussions, Vanderbilt Health was able to highlight the direct and tangible ways our business units are contributing to the future of healthcare — through smarter supply chain strategies and fostering professionalism across clinical teams.”
